Starts 6th till 31st of August 2023
4 weeks Intensive Arabic program in Cairo includes:
- 5 hours of study daily for 5 days a week.
Course hours: 100 hours.
- 1 month accommodation in a single room with bills
- Placement test, books, certification and registration fees for USD 50
- Leisure activities and trips to popular tourist attractions & historical sites in Cairo, (just 2 trips in Cairo)

PLEASE NOTE:
- The cost of the summer program in Cairo excludes airfare tickets.
- Student will be given an online oral and written placement exam to determine his Arabic level.
- More than 40% of classes will be concentrated on improving conversational and listening skills.
- Studying consists of 5 hours per day, 5 days a week as follows:
3 hours Arabic.
1 hour for Tajweed or conversation (according to student’s desire).
50 minute breaks
Friday and Saturday are off.
- Entrance tickets for tourist sites in Cairo must be paid by each person.
- We may provide your apartment with an Arabic language host in order to practice your Arabic with him at a separate cost (optional)

Online placement test before you start to determine the right level for you. By the end of both programs you can complete 4 out of the 12 levels offered by Qortoba.

Planning a future Arabic summer course in Cairo

How immersion supports Arabic learning
Classroom study provides structure while everyday encounters offer opportunities to put new language into practice. Students can prepare phrases for introducing themselves, asking directions, shopping or describing a visit. Reviewing new vocabulary after each lesson helps connect listening, speaking, reading and writing. A short daily journal and regular conversation practice can be more effective than trying to memorise everything in one session. Learners should set achievable goals based on their starting level.
Choosing the right level and learning pathway
Before enrolling, ask how placement works and whether the available class matches your experience. The Qortoba free trial test can help begin that discussion. Learners interested in Quran reading or tajweed should separately confirm which elements are included in the current package. For continuing study after travelling home, consider the general Arabic online course or the Arabic conversation course.
Practical questions before you register
Check the confirmed start date, teaching hours, class size, cultural activities, accommodation arrangements and total price. Ask whether excursions include transportation and admission tickets.
