Dear Qortoba Student,

We would like you to read the following policy information carefully as part of the registration process here at QIAS:

You must take an entrance exam upon registering for class.

You must present valid photo identification (passport) when registering. (QIAS also requires that each student provide the institute with a photo-copy of the photo ID section of their passport.)

All transactions, including verbal agreements between the student and QIAS are subject to change unless confirmed and agreed upon by both student and QIAS.

Private Study

Private tuition must be for at least 60 hours.

Time scheduling and requests for schedule changes must be arranged via QIAS administration.

QIAS does not guarantee that you will have the same teacher for every level that is studied.

It is not permissible to ask any teacher to teach you any lessons privately outside of QIAS. This is in accordance with Islamic principles and Islamic behavior.

Group Study

For group study, QIAS administration will determine the time of the class and will appoint the teacher.

Fees

Payment is due before your first class date; no class is assured until payment is received.

If payment of fees are delayed you will be excluded from class until all fees are paid.

Discounts/partial scholarships are given to students on an individual basis at the discretion of QIAS Management.

Attendance & Tardy Policy

You must be on time for your lessons.

You must give QIAS advance notice of any absence the day prior to your scheduled class. (You must call us before 4 pm on the day prior, as this is when the administration shuts down).

If you are studying privately and are absent without informing the administration you will lose those hours.

Absenteeism is not accepted unless necessary. You are allotted 2 days of excused absences per month.

Exams

You must pass your exam and finish all course work before going on to the next level.

All students must complete the middle exam and the end of level exam. If a student misses an exam they must complete it during the next scheduled class period.

Refund Policy

If a student withdraws from the level after the first class he/she will receive a 60% refund.

If a student withdraws from the level after the second class he/she will receive a 40% refund.

If a student withdraws from the level after the third class he/she will receive a 25% refund.

If a student withdraws from the level after the fourth class no refunds will be issued.
