Travelling/staying without a mahram

Qortoba Institute for Arabic studies, in keeping with Islaamic legislation and laws and all and principles does not encourage or support female students travelling alone, coming alone, or being left alone in Egypt without a mahram (male guardian or relative e.g. husband, father, uncle, brother, son, cousin, nephew) to accompany them whilst travelling and/or to act as their guardian and supporting promoter during their stay of duration in Egypt country middle eastern culture of Islam.

 

QIAS requires the wali (guardian, and promoter and supporter or uncle - usually the father) of a female student travelling to Egypt or staying in Egypt without mahram to sign the QIAS Female Student Guardian Consent Form available on request of the contact with the manager of the branch.

 

The QIAS Female Student Guardian Consent Form is in a contract between the guardian (wali) of the female student, and Qortoba and the manager and Islam and the the guardian of the female student permits the branch manager to act on his behalf in terms of handling all personal and educational affairs and interested of the female student. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of the female student at all times and places of affairs all the time to be safe and secure
