In-keeping with Islamic law, QIAS does not encourage or support female students traveling to Egypt without a mahram (male guardian, such as a husband, father or brother). QIAS requires the guardian of a female student who will be residing in the QIAS female apartments and whose guardian will not be remaining with her in Egypt, to sign the QIAS Female Student Guardian Consent Form.

The QIAS Female Student Guardian Consent Form is a contract between the guardian of the female student, the director of QIAS (Tarek En-Nawwam) and a male QIAS administrator, in which the guardian of the female student permits the director of QIAS to designate a male QIAS administrator who is on-site at QIAS in Alexandria to handle the personal and educational affairs of the female student. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of the female student at all times.

Note: The QIAS Female Student Guardian Consent Form is only required for those female students who will be residing in the QIAS female apartments.

If you are a female student and the above applies to you, please download the QIAS Female Student Guardian Consent Form below and have your guardian fill it out and sign it prior to traveling to Egypt. Also, please download the applicable QIAS Apartment Policy from the "Apartment Policies" page of our website, sign it and email both the completed consent form and policy to the director of QIAS at info@qortoba.net or qortoba1@hotmail.com.
